Stainless Steel Stoves & Controls

The Sawo range of Luxury Sauna Stoves includes models to suit every Sauna - at prices that make First-Class Sauna Bathing so easy on the pocket!

Featuring all Stainless-Steel construction with superb modern styling, the Luxury Range models are available in two forms:

'Built-In Control' models - i.e. with the illuminated Timer and Thermostat controls mounted on-board the stove itself, ideal for all home saunas!

'Remote Control' types which must be controlled by a separate 'Remote' Control Panel mounted in an appropriate location outside the hot room itself. (These stoves have no on-board controls)

Note: In all commercial applications, the Remote Control type is very strongly recommended, as bathers cannot alter the temperature or time settings from within the sauna itself.

Commercial Stoves & Control Panels

Sawo's Savonia Stoves are free-standing heavy-duty stoves, all designed and built specifically for operation in the tough Commercial environment

Savonia Stoves and the light-duty 'Scandia' models all feature Sawo's 'trade-mark' modern good looks; strong, all Stainless-Steel construction; screw-adjustable feet, and large stone capacities; all are designed with specially water-resistant electrical areas.

When the going gets tough - they keep going!

A bonus - there’s no 'front' or 'back'! Savonia stoves look the equally lovely from all sides, allowing these superb stoves to be a pleasure to the eye in any sauna configuration.

This is an important benefit - Sawo's Stainless Steel Stoves are often used to replace rusted-out old-style stoves in existing sauna rooms.

Wood Burning Sauna Stoves

Stylish, durable and economical, the special quality of heat provided by a woodburner can make for the purest sauna enjoyment!

The special aroma in wood-heated saunas makes for especially pleasant bathing, and it's the purist's way to sauna - however please note that wood-burning stoves are not well suited to small saunas, commercial saunas, or saunas installed within the home.

They are best enjoyed in outdoor (garden) saunas of fairly generous proportions, ideally with masonry walls and floor in the stove area.

For installations into an all-wooden cabin, the 'Heat Shielding Kit' and 'Insulated Chimney' are usually necessary to prevent fire risk - see full details in the relevant sections below.
