Delivery of Smaller Items

Only the very tiniest and 'toughest' items are sent through the post; we prefer to serve you best with the greater reliability and speed of professional 'courier' type delivery services such as DPD, one of the UK's top parcels-delivery specialists.

Yes - only the best is good enough for SaunaShop customers!

Smaller and lighter goods are normally despatched within 2/3 working days, and are then delivered on DPD's normal service terms.

Delivery of goods will be made to the address you specify, and for the best security of your delivery , the DPD driver will require an acceptance name and signature at the time and place of delivery.

Deliveries may be made at any time during normal weekday working hours unless specially requested at time of order – however please note that ‘timed’ and other special delivery options usually involve substantial extra costs.

Such special services as "before-noon" or on Saturday are available; however these special services must all be specially arranged at the time of order, and will incur additional costs; these extra costs will be advised on receipt of your order.

If delivery by the Post Office's Parcel Post is insisted upon for cheapness, please be aware that we cannot accept any liability for late or non-delivery, or for breakages.
Sadly, our experience of Parcels Post is not so good...

Customers themselves, or customer's own couriers/carriers, are welcome to collect from our warehouse during normal working hours, however this must be by individual advance arrangement made at time of order.
(Unscheduled customer collections could involve a lengthy wait... especially if we are unloading an inward bulk shipment)

Please note that customers calling with private cars (and all other vehicles not designed for the transit of goods) will be responsible for the loading of their goods into them.

Your delivery must be checked on arrival and any damage, missing parcels etc must be detailed on the carrier’s delivery note BEFORE signature.

It is obviously very difficult for us to take up any claim with the carriers when goods have been signed for as "received in full and in good condition".

Fortunately, such claims are rare; we have very good carriers!

Any claims of this nature must be notified to ourselves as soon as possible, and always within seven days of receipt of goods.

Regretfully, claims after seven days cannot be accepted, so please ensure that all goods are carefully checked, promptly on receipt.
