When I retired from a first career at sea (as a Master Mariner in the British Merchant Navy) I wanted to bring to Britain the pleasures of the Scandinavian lifestyle I had so much enjoyed during my travels.

Now, after 25 years in the business, it's a continuing delight to bring you real Sauna from its true home in Finland and the beautiful Nordic countries.

I enthusiastically invite you to enjoy the same Sauna joys that we ourselves know so often...

When I'm not enjoying Sauna at home, I'll probably be hard at work at our nearby offices and Sauna Distribution Centre, bringing the joys of Genuine Finnish Sauna to the people of Britain; from Land's End to John O'Groats, and far beyond... this is our mission!

We couldn't ask for a more pleasant one, for with saunas as good as these we expect our customers to become friends - indeed, it is our greatest pleasure that so many do...

Apart from our long and very close association with Lagerholm, and our 25 years in the sauna business, we also bring you the benefits of true personal professionalism, for example with our involvement with The Finnish Sauna Society in Helsinki, Finland - the Sauna world's very own centre of excellence.

Over the years, we have moved with (or ahead of!) the times, establishing our first Internet presence in 1997 with a website that soon became acknowledged as one of the world's best sauna information resources - as is this latest SaunaShop website, too!
